Tasha is proud to have been a part of Swirl since its inception in 1997. She started her career in Los Angeles at a boutique public relations and marketing firm where she helped generate grass-roots marketing campaigns to increase awareness of the 1994 World Cup Games in the U.S. She then took these marketing skills north to San Francisco and Foote, Cone & Belding where she worked as an Art Buyer and produced photo shoots for clients including Levi Strauss & Company, Dockers, Janus Funds, and Kikkoman.
In 1995, Tasha joined Martin Lauber at True North Technologies as an Associate Producer managing complex interactive projects including Levi’s intranet and the then-new Levi.com web site.
Having both offline and online experience and sharing Martin’s view of a more open agency structure, Tasha joined Swirl as employee #2 in September of 1997. Since day-one Tasha has worn many hats; managing client business, art buying, establishing and implementing internal processes, negotiating with production partners and in general keeping the office and energy flowing smoothly by joining Martin for his afternoon latte.
In 2002, Tasha was made a partner. Now, as Director of Operations, Tasha oversees Swirl’s internal operations and acts as chief cultural officer to nurture the unique agency energy and experience that is Swirl.
